Making the difference

In Richmond Borough 2 out of 3 (65%) of the Conservative prospective Councillors are new; this is a real voice for change. The Modern Conservatives wish to set a new political landscape where it is you, the resident who have the say. Having joined the Conservatives from independent Community groups, we have looked at their policies and we are absolutely confident they will help everyone in Richmond Borough.

There are some particularly worrying problems in Teddington:

The LibDems are committed to over-development. They have allowed construction on all conceivable open spaces in Teddington, even allowing encroachment on Bushy Park. (just another Twickenham Riverside).
They are financially incompetent - a £10 Million over-spend on Teddington School has affected the expansion of infant schools in Teddington.
They oppose a 6th form at Teddington School, even though this has general support in the area.
They have imposed CO2 based parking controls without any proper consultation and offered to help the Royal Parks to introduce C02 charging in Bushy Park.
They forced through a Controlled Parking Zone against the majority of residents wishes.
Finally the LibDems are continuing the usual lack of consultation, undermining community spirit and damaging your quality of life.
